Watermark Images

Label, protect, or brand images with a text watermark you can place at a preset anchor, size, color, and fade to taste.

  • Files stay on your device.
  • Processed locally in your browser.
  • No uploads. No storage.

Watermark Image adds a configurable text mark to one image and renders the result locally in the browser.

The preview reflects the selected text, color, size, opacity, layout, and preset placement before processing.

What you can do

  • Choose single or repeated text placement.
  • Adjust color, size, opacity, and one of nine preset positions.
  • Preview, undo, and choose the output filename.
  • Keep animated GIF files as animations and SVG files as scalable vectors.

Before you start

  • The current workflow creates text watermarks rather than image-logo watermarks.
  • Raster and GIF output flattens the watermark into the image frames; SVG output retains the watermark as vector text.
  • Animated GIF processing requires a modern browser with module workers and OffscreenCanvas.
  • Large images require enough browser memory for preview and output rendering.

How it works

  1. Choose the image you want to watermark.
  2. Enter your text and set layout, position, size, opacity, and color.
  3. Download the watermarked image.

Common questions

Can I position the watermark?

Yes. A 3x3 grid provides nine preset anchors for a single watermark, while diagonal and tiled layouts cover the image automatically.

Can I use a custom watermark color?

Yes. Preset swatches and a custom color option are both supported, and you can undo changes as you go.

Are GIF animation and SVG vectors preserved?

Yes. Animated GIF output keeps its frames, timing, transparency, and loop settings in supported modern browsers. SVG output stays SVG and adds the watermark as scalable vector text.
