Adjust Image Colors

Make local color and tone changes while preserving animated GIF output and scalable SVG output.

  • Files stay on your device.
  • Processed locally in your browser.
  • No uploads. No storage.

Adjust Image Colors applies color and tonal changes to one image locally in the browser.

Controls update the preview so you can compare the edited image with the original before processing.

What you can do

  • Adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, and related color controls.
  • Apply clearly distinguished B&W + contrast, Grayscale, Invert, Warm, and Cool presets.
  • Preview, compare, undo, reset, and choose the output filename.
  • Preserve animated GIF frames and timing in supported modern browsers.
  • Keep SVG artwork scalable with a standards-based vector color filter.

Before you start

  • Adjustments affect the complete image rather than selected regions.
  • Repeated lossy re-encoding can reduce image quality.
  • Large images require enough browser memory for real-time preview and output.
  • Animated GIF processing requires modern browser worker and canvas support.

How it works

  1. Choose the image you want to adjust.
  2. Use sliders and presets: brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, temperature, tint, exposure, and more.
  3. Compare before and after, then download.

Common questions

Can I make an image black and white?

Yes. B&W + contrast removes color and adds contrast, while Grayscale removes color without changing contrast. Invert, Warm, and Cool presets are also included.

Can I reset my changes?

Yes. A reset control returns every slider to its original value at any time.

Are GIF animation and SVG vectors preserved?

Yes. Supported modern browsers retain animated GIF frames and timing, while SVG downloads stay scalable and use a vector color matrix filter.
